"Ever since college, all I knew about working out was the traditional 'Globo' gym mentality. I found out about CrossFit after reading about it in a fitness magazine and decided to give it a try. That was nearly 4 years ago and I haven't looked back since. Now I'm on a mission to build a positive and encouraging community that breeds success! CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways I wouldn't know where to begin. Each day will test you to your limits physically and mentally. I've found no other program out there that is more effective in achieving great fitness than CrossFit!"

"I have been into working out since I was introduced to the weight room during high school athletics. Since then, I had stayed with the traditional gym style training with cardio and lifting separate from each other and got bored. I started indoor climbing for a different more interesting type of work out and got great results but was unable to continue spending multiple hours a day at the gym. From there I was introduced to CrossFit by a flyer I saw and became a closet crossfit.com junkie. I finally started training at a Crossfit affiliate in November 2009 and then interned as a trainer while completing my degree in exercise and health science. I have never been stronger and in better shape than I have using the Crossfit method!"

I have been Crossfitting for three years, and I learn something new about myself on every workout. I am a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer, Schwinn Cycling Instructor, Group Fitness/Boot Camp instructor, SNBF Figure model competitor and I'm certified in Crossfit Nutrition methodologies. There is nothing like a strong and confident woman that is heart healthy and knows what her body is capable of! Through crossfit I have become stronger, I've become leaner, more competitive and more confident in myself as an athlete and a trainer. I'm currently getting my Master's in Human Movement/kinesiology and I plan on taking my love of fitness to another level by competiting in my first powerlifting competition! I love coaching and I can't wait to help you become a more fit and healthier you!

I'm a Police Officer and SWAT Team member. Prior to becoming involved in Crossfit 2 years ago I subscribed, as many others, to the common 5 day a week gym model of weighlifting. My goal at the time was to get as big and muscular as possible. I was introduced to Crossfit by a friend and quickly realized three things after I was thoroughly smoked by what seemed like such a simple workout; What good is having this size if I A) can't move it efficiently and effectively B) keep it moving for an extended period of time C) maintain intensity. Since beginning Crossfit I am 20 pounds lighter, but stronger and exponentially better in endurance. Being a member of Crossfit South Cobb has not only improved my fitness, but has helped me grow in confidence and personal relationships. I know there is no better fitness program for First Responders as well as the general public.

I’m a former collegiate athlete who has had fitness and competition in my life since I was a little munchkin running around on a T-ball field. I had spent years in the weight room trying to get ready for “the season”, so after I graduated college it only seemed fitting to get a job at the globo gym and start personally training others – helping them achieve the results they wanted. The only problem was that I had been training this way for years and hadn’t gotten the results I wanted – how was I going to tell someone else to train this way? Let alone promise them the results they wanted! It was about this time I had taken a job with major league baseball, when in my first week there my boss showed me a website, Crossfit.com. We decided to try out one of the WOD’s from their website. I instantly went from thinking I was in pretty good shape to feeling like I had been run over by a bus; I loved it! I had officially been sucked into Crossfit and I knew that I was never going to train any other way again. Within a month I had seen better results than I had ever seen in the years of lifting at the globo gym. I know Crossfit has worked for me and has helped me change every aspect of my fitness. Now, I’m looking forward to helping you make the change and get the results you’re looking for!

Previous to CrossFit, I was a member of an elite Taekwondo Team in Miami, Fl coached by current US Olympic Team coach Juan Moreno. Competitive martial arts at the state, national and international level required me to be of sound mind and body. Grad school in electrical engineering ended my martial arts career and introduced me to CrossFit. CrossFit's short, constantly varied intense workouts resonated well with my previous training methods and gave me results I'd never seen before. I believe in the CrossFit program and encourage others to do so too!
